My left arm and leg are a little shorter than the right. So most of these, my hips aren’t even, or my hands don’t meet right at my center. How do I account for that, so my alignment isn’t off?

Tried it out today after doing the 20-minute beginner video. Got frustrated by the second runner’s lunge because I am a “well-endowed” woman, and cannot fit my knee up through my arms like she does. (I also have a difficult time breathing when my head is down on the mat.) It went pretty fast for someone who is new to yoga/exercise :/ I want to push myself to do it, but what are some modifications I might use? Help me out people!!
Day 1 for me just completed, im WAY out of shape
I’m 12 and I just started high school and I had a lot of stress that have been going onto my back and now I found thins and I have just done day 1 and I feel heaps better

Day 1 feel good but my body is so weak, it was very difficult for me. 29 days let’s see where that takes me.
I did absolutely nothing but watched the entire video. Man, I’m a super lazy person.
I’m starting tomorrow an was just wondering can you do day 1-2 in the same day or is it better to space it out day by day

This is my first day and I can’t BELIEVE that was only 35 minutes! I feel completely relaxed and at peace, idk why i didn’t start this sooner 🙂
I was a bit upset with this. It’s my first time doing yoga and I was doing really well! I was surprised I had gotten halfway through the video without having to miss a move because of my leg. I have a shortened muscle in my left leg and I managed to do a very spaced out downward dog but then when we had to walk up to meet our hands, I was completely stumped. I wish you could have done something where over a few days you stretched your muscles until you could walk up to meet your hands. I know this video is quite old and I’m new to your channel, but could you think about doing a series for people with shortened muscles or injuries? I know I sound really picky but it would really help because the stretches I do for my leg don’t seem to be working and my friend recommended yoga to me.
But when I felt like crying and giving up I told myself that I can carry on and I can do this and if I continue my leg will get better. I did the difficult moves to the best I could and completed the session without giving up ❤️

I’m doing this! Trying to learn to exercise for myself and my wellbeing, not for my body’s appearance or calorie balance. Today I’ve had a pleasant experience. I noticed I’m not as stiff as I think I am, and having the permission to move freely and however it feels good (not ‘working against the pain!!’) is fun!

I started the 30 day challenge today!!! Was doing few of the beginner videos once a week for the past few weeks. feeling more in tune with the poses and breathing. Sooooo here we go!! Thanks Adriene!!!!
