There are a lot of new things to learn and it can be overwhelming as a CrossFit Beginner. Not only do you have to focus on proper technique with the plethora of different exercises, but you learn different stretches and mobility drills, understand when to push or when to slow down during a workout, and everything else that the class has programmed for the hour-long class.
When I first started CrossFit I was pumped! It was something new and exciting from the normal strict and mundane movements perform at a traditional gym. I engulfed myself in it every day. I went to every class, I stayed during open gym and practiced movements, I’d go home and study as much as I could to prepare myself for the next day’s WOD. You could say I had an addiction for sure! But one thing that took me a while to understand was that CrossFit for beginners is much different than CrossFit for the veteran athlete.
Even though I tried to learn as much as I could from my coaches and other outside sources, I was moving to quickly and not taking the time to fully break things down and understand them. Why do we need to do 70% of my clean and when I feel good and could probably do all my sets at 80%? I can do butterfly pull ups, but how do I properly warm up for them to keep my shoulders healthy and injury free? The saying slow and steady wins the race is very true when starting out and will help you reap even more results down the road. Plus, you’ll greatly decrease the chance of injury!
If you’re someone that hasn’t tried it yet, I highly suggest finding a gym that has a beginner CrossFit class that will teach you the basics first, show you modifications, and keep you feeling safe and confident whenever you attack a workout! If a find a gym that doesn’t provide it and wants to have you jump right into the regular class, run the opposite direction!

very nice video but i am little disappointed to hear non of the models come with bikes…..
douche
I like Pro gear 100S it looks so bright
Okay, so Spin BIkes are a bit personalized with each individual after certain specifics. I was not sure when i clicked to watch your review, but eventually i have to agree with you, your list covers the best in the market
The spins bikes in 2018 are so much better than those of a couple years ago. Great list!
This looks like excellent selection of spin bikes, thanks for detailed review!
Sunny brand is by far the best bang for the buck
Great video, excellent review. I like it. Thank you.
Seems silly to compare $200 bikes to $2000 bikes. Is this just a sponsored ad ?
I am not sure that all the spin bikes recommanded by them r really nice.
I have been practicing for some time and I was planning to buy spin bIkes. I think the Marcy XJ-3220 would suit me the most. What do you think?
Good review. Very complete but i have to say that i do not like spin bikes.
Great tips thank
What I don’t want is anything that requires electronics to work …the top rated bike on Amazon has several negative comments regarding the computer failing and then the bike is junk because you can’t even buy replacement computer ….So this is HUGE for me! Do they make one the computer adjusts OR can be used manually? I envision a switch “manual” and “automatic”….Or else a guarnateed parts availability at least! Damn STOP saying “spin bike”! WTH?
Absolutely great tips, by the way what do u do for your teeth, they r so white and healthy looking
ProGear 100 s could be a budget-friendly for many users but overall quality and durability could be better think about that.
*Loving my bike.>>>**ur2.pl/1144** It was quite easy to assemble, no issues at all. I followed a YouTube video about assembling it and that helped a lot. Only small issue is that moving it around is a bit of a drag because you can only bend the bike to a certain angle to be able to move the bike around, which to me isn’t the best angle since i have to be constantly moving it. Wish the wheel was a bit larger or situated further back so one could bend it further out and make it easier to move around. Other than that, i have no issues.*
going to my first class tomorrow morning thanks for tips!
Great video about best Spin Bikes! And also useful details and informations about it! Thanks a lot for sharing this nice video clip!

These are sooo helpful. I would love to buy one of these as soon as I can

I think one big misconception about CrossFit is you have to be super fit to it. Anyone can do CrossFit. Everything can be scaled to you’re level and you can build on that.
Apparently exercise bikes aren’t for weight loss seeing as almost all of them come in with a weight limit of 250.
Good stuff mate. Applicable to not just cross fit but any other type or sport/work out
Excellent selection of spin bikes, thank you for sharing.
As an avid cycler, i can surely tell your list is based on a pure quality! Cheers and keep uploading more, i really enjoy these videos!
Questions what shoes should I get for crossfit
Where the hell did the term “spin bike” come from? I don’t see that on manufacturer models… Irritates me when people create bizzare terms for things …makes it confusing
Need a good spin bike and these seem like some great options.
About to start sunday and have never worked out really. Thank you for this love 274 lbs now joined a 6 week challenge wish me luck
All true Adding stretch and mobility time becomes more important as you continue. I am 64 and enjoy Crossfit for sure and plan another 10 years of community fitness
I am 53 you ting i can do it?
Great video and it applies on body building too so nothing was new. I’m getting into the whole crossfit thing , so hopefully your channel will be helpful in the next few days to help me get the right form before I apply my own form lol
Hi thank you so much for this video, please do you have some tips, to avoid injuries ?
Great spin bikes compilation. I´m not an expert on the subject but I´m interested on install one in my home shortly and I really did´nt know where to begin to looking. Your explanations are clear and detailed and good to make decisions, because the price according to some models can be quite high. Thanks for your work and guidance.
I can’t decide between chain or belt. I want the real feel of a real bike but not sure how far a belt is from that.
I would date you
I like the ProGear 100S… thanks for the video man !
I cant even ohs a pvc pipe when i started crossfit. Took me 6 monhts to ohs a 20kg. Now.. after 3 monhts.. able to ohs 50kg. Youre absolutely right… technique first, strength second. Good video!!
for me ProGear 100S is the best Spin BIkes in 2018
Keiser M3i is always my first choice. Thanks for this list.
My biggest mistake was going to cross fit even when you don’t feel well
Don’t push it. Get rest. It is not 24 hr fitness
What a quite useful video I’ve found! I’ve spent a lot of time trying to find a reliable video in which the different Spin Bikes models shown are in line with the description of all their performances and I finally got your video! I tried it step by step and slowly and I had good results. Thanks for sharing this video with us! I’ll be looking forward to watch your next videos.
WhT about men in 50a
Hey dude. Great video. I just started crossfit and these tips are great for me. I made a video response to this post. Well it’s kinda like a remake of your vid, but I’m applying it to myself. Have a look https://youtu.be/zlwLUMCVT_I
To me this kind of sounds like a dumb question but with CrossFit does it just focus on legs and arms or does it work on the core too? because that’s one of my biggest insecurities and wondering if this is right for me
hello mate just trying to get into crossfit now but in my place there is no gym in to this yet. I am a 30 years old guy and have no gym tools. is there any video of full body course on youtube or any other source? Thanks a lot..sincerely you gave us great tips.
My first CrossFit coach emphasized that the “magic” happens on the rest days between workouts. She stressed taking active rest (yoga, spin, walk/run) as well as total rest. It helped me to think of days off as “magic” days. Also, I listen to my body. I started CrossFit at 58 after nearly 40 years of working out in one form or another that included running, racquetball, karate, yoga, boot camps, etc., and I know what my body needs, what injuries I’ve had and want to avoid, and how hard I can push, as long as I get my ego out of the way! Ensure technique over increasing weight EVERY TIME.
So good. Kudos for posting this.
